Lydgate Kennel has been raising quality Cocker Spaniels for the
show ring and the home since 1984. My philosophy has always been
to raise what pleases me. The emphasis has been placed on
breeding animals to be both sound physically as well as mentally. It
has taken many years of careful and selective breeding to achieve
the many success's I have attained in the show ring, but the
ultimate test has always been in the home, because above all the
Cocker Spaniel should make a wonderful companion animal. Only
through a process such as this have I been able to maintain a level
of consistency in my breeding program.
